Trailer for the 2009 documentary about the Bologna Jazz Festival.
The BJF has been one of the most important in Europe, in the period that lasted from 1958 to 1975 and it has recently come back to life in 2006.
The film is a journey from Bologna to New York and then back in town, with some great commentaries from the pioneers of the Italian and international Jazz scene. It is not only a valuable historical review, but also a great source of thinking about the past, present and future perspectives of Jazz.
